With a massive variety of beers to choose from (up to 40!) all served from wooden casks, this is a true celebration of traditional draught beer, drawn direct from the cask by gravity or hand pump.

At The Musical Museum, 399 High Street, Brentford, Middlesex, TW8 0DU

The Musical Museum is delighted to partner with The Society for the Preservation of Beers from the Wood (SPBW), founded in 1963 - the oldest consumer-based group interested in stimulating the brewing of, increasing the awareness of, and encouraging the responsible drinking of cask conditioned real ale.

  • North London Branch AGM Tuesday 21 July 2026 Parcel Yard, London

    19:00 : The Parcel Yard, King's Cross Railway Station, London, N1C 4AP

The AGM will be held in the "First Class Lounge" which can be found on the right at the end of the corridor after passing the Gents. We have the room reserved from 19.00 so you can get yourself a beer and head for the Lounge and get settled before it all starts. Don't forget to bring your Membership Card to claim your discount. All being well the Meeting itself will start at 19.30.

After the formal AGM business, this year's guest speaker is Georgina Wald, Corporate Communications Manager for Fuller, Smith & Turner PLC.

She has been in the licensed retail sector since 1995, when she started as a journalist on The Publican Newspaper. George, as she is more commonly known, has also worked at the BII, before joining Fuller’s in 2002. In 2008, George went to Domino’s Pizza, first to head up the comms team, before becoming Head of Franchising, and in 2014, she returned to her spiritual home in Chiswick. George has always been a proud supporter of CAMRA and has been a member of the Guild of Beer Writers for over 30 years.

Rather than a speech, George will be doing a question and answer session, so come along with your questions but note that George is from the Fuller's pub company not the brewery .
