In a visit at the end of Oct 2018 it was reported that the handpumps had been removed as cask sales had fallen. They will now be concentrating on keg beers which they can sell at a higher margin. Revitalised and laid back pub, a single bar with an eclectic mix of furniture with mixed tables, armchairs and sofas, a piano, lit by candles and table lamps with a ceiling decorated with hop sacks and empty casks. It has a very warm and welcoming feel and the internal pillars probably indicate a previous bar layout. Regular events include band nights, art cabaret, an alternative pub quiz and comedy nights. Hoxton overground is nearest station, Old St. is about 12 minutes away. For past history see, See https://pubshistory.com/LondonPubs/Shoreditch/QueensHeadHoxton.shtml
