26/07/23 - freehold for sale with Savills.

27/09/22 - "I'm the owner of The Apple Tree on Mount Pleasant. Just wanted to let you know that we are closed for renovation but will be re-opening with many of the original Victorian features restored - the original brown tiled faience, covered up by previous owners, has been uncovered and windows replaced to Victorian style. When we do re-open we'll have a wider and more esoteric selection of beers and ciders than previously."

28/11/21 - Closed and boarded up. Very much keg-only. Hand-pumps removed. Even the keg selection is reported as extremely lacklustre, with only two fonts present, and serving the likes of Fosters.
