Campaign for Real Ale

London Drinker Festival Cider

.CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale, also campaigns for Real Cider and Perry through its APPLE Committee. And why not, for cider has been drunk in Britain for hundreds of years and often graced the dining table. The ciders and perries we have on sale are in the spirit of that traditional production; they are all ‘real’ meaning they are naturally produced from apples or pears with no added carbon dioxide to make it bubbly. This makes them easy to drink, hiding the alcohol content and producing some wonderful and complex flavours.

On the bar, you will find some tasting notes, designed to give you a bit more of an idea of what each drink tastes like, so why not have a read of them before choosing what to buy? If you are intending to try a few, start with the perries, which tend to be more delicate in flavour but please do ask any of the Cider Bar staff who will be happy to help.

For the first time, we have also two ciders made with added fruit and a number of ciders that we haven't had at the Festival before.
